The snow is slowly melting from the camera lens! Strange to see a sail boat heading out the harbour.

Can't imagine setting out in boat under the green swathe of Northern Lights near the midnight hour. What a great gift that is, to work under such natural beauty. TY Lofoten for the cam.

Nevermind Carolynn, the forecast is reasonable tonight for the weather and "high activity" for the lights. We will be losing them soon of course as the days get longer and the nights much shorter :(

Watched the Aurora on the wartime prime minister cam early this morning, absolutely awesome!

Thanks Carolynn. All I saw last night was, I think, refracted light from a raindrop on the cam lens. See pic. I will keep watching and hoping!

Hi Jenny. Tonight there was a 'green' light, volatile and somewhat mobile, but much lower and I think maybe it is a reflection of the northern lights that are out of camera range. Perhaps that is what happened with the pics from a few days ago. They were only partial displays of the lights and were primarily out of camera range. ?? 2:36 am 4/1

Hi Carolynn thanks for the info. I can't understand why they didn't show the pics as it is in the description for the cam! Glad you thought to save them. I watch the Aurora on another cam but would liked to have seen it here too :(

Hi Jenny. I took a lot of pics and I am sure others did too. There were over 100 people that came to the page quickly to see them. I don't know why they didn't post them. I saved them also to my computer and shared them with others.
