Yes, nice sharp picture, just back from two weeks in Exiles Bay, some windy nights. Read in the Times that car park idea would be underground, perhaps the children will have their play area back on top when finished, well used area at present.

A multi-story car park on the playground? I used to play on a previous incarnation of the playground in the sixties. That is scandalous.

Camera angle will soon not matter, when building work on the new multi-storey car park starts on the play ground.

I wish someone would straighten this camera. I feel seasick looking at the picture.

Re Meridien Hotel, they told us on last visit, that two extra floors being built and that swimming pool would be built at rear of Hotel on the large car park. Not been on site for a while, all our previous visits have been all over Island (not all at Le Meridien), used to stay at Rabat in our early visits. Love the old place.

Is Le Meridien the hotel that wants to build in Balluta valley?
Anyone know if the Waters Edge camera will ever be reinstated? Skyline said that all the missing ones would be fixed but...

Hello Ian, thank you for the news about the missing underwatercam.

@Tim, Re:underwatercam; All of that cam setup was destroyed by the waves in a fierce storm. The sponsoring/maintaining divers expressed the intent to restore operation of a replacement installation as soon as it's economical and practical possible.

I contacted Syline re. the offline webcams. Their response was "all the mentioned cams will be reinstated, also considering other points of view, we can't at the moment tell you the exact waiting times since they don't depend on us but we are working on."
