Hi DJM; Couldn't agree more. Most days there seems to be 3 or 4 folks (maybe same ones) chatting in the water mid morning time.
Jon 11.45 Thursday morning and there are three people swimming in the middle of the bay having a chat ,what a way to spend your time.
When we visited Xlendi a couple of weeks ago it was nice to call in at St. Patricks hotel who host this camera for a drink. Also nice to have a swim in the sea out of shot to the left.
hi folks the water is full of dirt washed down by the storm the other day. gan canny.
Last summer I remember seeing most times when I viewed this camera at about this time 3 people chatting in the water in the foreground. I wonder if the 3 I saw today are the same - What a great thing to be able to do every morning in the summer - beats my routine.
I will be stopping at St Patricks Hotel, for 1 week in September - cant wait.
I'll be swimming there in September. I'll have a drink in the St. Patrick's Hotel by way of a thank you.
Just like to echo what Capture Sam has written. It's great to have this view back. One of the best; with some great personal memories for me.
1jul18--It is great to have this 'live-cam' broadcasting again. Thank You, Malta Tourism Authority and St Patrick’s Hotel. Looking so inviting.
Hope you're having a good time Charley & manage to get up them steps to look down on the bay. It's good to see some boats back in the bay - summer's definitely on the way!
11.30am, looks like someone's doing their PADI open wate
Thanks Jon, back there April 21st, cant bloody wait!!! If the knee holds up ill be up them steps lol
Hi Jon, Thanks for the information. Just 12 days and One year ago. > This from Wiki > The Azure Window (was a 28-metre-tall (92 ft) natural arch on the island of Gozo in Malta. The limestone feature, which was located in Dwejra Bay close to the Inland Sea and Fungus Rock, was one of the island's major tourist attractions until it collapsed in stormy weather on 8 March 2017 << What a marvel the arch was, and from reading, Gozo has another natural arch near-by. Hi Charley; If you go again, as you look at this picture on the right hand side is quite a steep hill. You can scramble up it to do a coastal walk round to where Azure's Window once stood. However as you claim look behind you (down on this amazing view); looks awesome.
