RE: Camera Position... it seems as though it is from the webcam sponsor, "Glamour Apartments"...

No idea where the camera is positioned. I would guess it is in a building facing the Piazza. Possibly from the museum. Definitely had the spire focused a few months ago. There is sound. Some great music going on there tonight. Acoustic guitar with backing track etc. If you want to see the spire with the Madonna go to milanocam.it Wish we could have sound on some of the other Skyline webcams.

08:17 I can clearly hear a conversation between 3 people, 2 women & 1 man. It sounds like an asian language. I wonder where the camera is exactly?

Mariagrazia: Thank you for that. Did not come up as pink. But beautiful anyway. A good recognition of something we should all be thinking about, men and women. Was in Como last year round about the same time of year when the guys came through on their motorbikes, beautifully dressed, supporting prostate research and awareness. I have never seen anything like that in the UK. Never seen such an amazing number of bikes other than on a circuit! Italy is a country that is looking after its people, hopefully, if they are prepared and in a position to look after themselves. I am not political. Get what you can. I hope the breast cancer campaign is going to be successful. Men don't realise they can be affected the same way as women.

Lesley Shaw the pink duomo is for the campaign against breast cancer.

I have never seen the Duomo in that colour. You could say it is inappropriate but it does bring out some of the architectural features in the building that you don't see with natural light and whatever lighting is normally around. I like it. Know it's Milan fashion week but was in Milan last year for that event. Can't imagine they would dress up the Diomo for that. Anyone know why there is this colour on the Duomo?

Emilio and Lucy: I am with you on the angle of the camera. The Madonnina has been 'decapitated'! Have been watching since your post Emilio and they are not taking any notice. Not the perfect view of the Duomo we have had in the past.

Great to see events like this in this marvellous piazza.

What are the NBA tents all about? I didn't think the NBA had much of a following in Italy.

Emilio. Sadly, no one is paying attention to your requests to angle the camera a few centimeters higher in order to capture the Madonnina at the very top. You will just have to go there and do it yourself. I will hold the ladder for you.

È cos difficile alzare la camera di 5 gradi per non DECAPITARE la guglia con la Madonnina? Tale guglia indica le feste civili esponendo il tricolore.

I have great memories of this place. We have been there many times and it is one of our favorite places to visit when we are in Milan. Luini's, just behind the galleria on the left, is a great place to grab one of their delicious panzerote for lunch in the park.
