    I went to Deal years ago, I found it a lovely little town, and the castle/fort was very interesting. I'm sure things will liven up during the summer season!

    It's quite common to have the cycle and footpath together, especially in towns, it's not dangerous if it is marked, because each has it's own lane marked out and if you stay in the correct lane then it's quite safe.
    I know that cycles have got to watch out for young children running about.
