I love Zagreb. It's too bad after the war in the 90s most people there have become arrogant, unloving, and unfriendly.

So what are they all set up for? Is it some kind of fair?

Zagreb - my city of origin. A beautiful city filled with gorgeous, cosy cafés and restaurants, interesting museums and loving people! So much to do there and to discover! :)

Oh yes, they are! "Advent in Zagreb" starts today, on the 26th (http://www.adventzagreb.com/). A big Christmas tree should also appear soon on the main square. I happened to be in Zagreb last year in late November - early December and it was amazing. I'm not a big fan of Christmas markets, but the atmosphere was truly lovely, really warm despite the wintry weather :)
