05:30 June 17 - Hi James Salmon - Thanks for your attention to cleaning the camera lens. Little Incy certainly is persistent! If you could find her, put her in a nice garden where she will do pest control.....yummy bugs! (Spiders are one of the most beneficial things in the garden). Happy hunting!.....I would do it for you, but I'm not anywhere near you. Thank you for your effort....we all appreciate it. By the way, I hope you folks consider adding sound to your next cam; we would love to hear the activity that goes on there. Ta ta for now, James.
Incy is back from her winter travels and is making a regular appearance at the moment!I keep cleaning the camera, but she's keeps making a return ;-)
11:30 June 6 (UK time) - At this moment, I am watching the D-Day'75 ceremony that is taking place in Normandy, France. For those of you who took part in D-Day in 1944, and those of you whose family members and friends did, I thank you so very much......thank you.....I thank you for freedom......we will never forget you.
05:21 June 4, 2019 - James Salmon, If you work at Dover Sea Sports Centre, or someone else who does......1) This cam: please clean the spider and its web off of the lens. 2) When you replace this cam, would you please include sound?!!!! Thanks a bunch.
Great idea, James. I am one who nearly came by to say hello from the U.S. After a day at Dover Castle, though, we had to call it quits for the day. :)
Donated to the camera fund :)
Would just like to say Hello!... to everyone who is part of this Dover sea-sports centre/Sea Safari webcam community...although ive been an avid 'watcher' of this webcam amoungst others on the site for a fair while now, this one has made me want to join. Its a fanasic view and reminds me very closely of trips to France, particularly at the end of July when i go to Paris for the final of the Tour De France....passing so near to the centre-yet so far!! Its an 'easy' cam to watch, relaxing watching the ferries come into and leaving port along with the hustle and bustle on the roads behind it. Thanks once again, and please - keep up the great work, the centre itself looks most interesting. (Adrian,Lincoln)
Thanks for setting that up James. Have bunged you a few quid! If you don't get the full amount you need, I am ok with you using my contribution for good causes at the sea sports centre there.
Excellent idea James, hope it happens,I’ll do my bit, love this cam, look in every day, jolly good luck.
Hi everyone. It's fantastic to see our viewer numbers growing and reading your great comments. We're even meeting some of you that pop by to see our location which we never thought would happen. We would love to install a moving camera, but as a Community Interest Company setup to get people out enjoying the water, we couldn't divert funds for a new moving camera.Well you know what they say..."if you don't ask, you don't get!"We have set up a crowdfunding page to see if you would all chip in, raising money for a moving camera.Totally get why you wouldn't, as there much greater causes to support out there. But incase you have a few pennies to spare! :-)The page is with Justgiving and titled 'movingharbourcam'
What a lovely day,so nice to see people enjoying the beach and sea.
Oh! dear, that poor man ate his sandwich after the seagull had tried to swallow it. This is a fantastic camera.
I’m not sure Sean but I find that some disappear for a while then come back - perhaps a technical issue.
A lovely evening.
Amazing colour,should love to have a swim,peaceful.
0602.. What a beautiful sunrise
