Did you have a good time Jansh? I always enjoy walking across the square when we're in Malta. We stopped in Valetta last year so did it plenty of times. We're stopping in the city for a few days next summer after being in Gharb - sure both will be great. Already really looking forward to it.

Thank you for pointing it out Margaret. I just assumed it would be under the "Terms Of Use". Of course you would never have thought to look cause you were just asking a simple question and where were you supposed to pose the question anyway if that particular cam is not operational? Kevin has made a very valid point. In the "Refer To Regulations" it also states that comments deemed to be rude or offensive will be immediately deleted yet it still happens, so it seems that not everyone is practicing what they preach. As for the ship I did put a comment about it a few hours back on the Senglea-Cottonera cam, which I guess wasn't the appropriate one either since it's docked in front of another cam. But no, I didn't get to see her come in unfortunately. :( :( :(

Ann, I can see the comment he is stating in the "Refer to regulations". I'd never even thought to look when I asked the initial question about the missing Sliema camera and the very interesting information that Gary provided. Kevin is quite right, how can you ask a question if there's no camera currently there..... perhaps there could be a section where people could put constructive comments that don't necessarily refer to a specific cameras - and yes. I upgraded to stop getting all the annoying adverts. Oh and Ann I was going to ask if you did manage to see the new ship coming in this morning, but better not as I don't want to get into trouble for commenting on the wrong camera.

Wow Capture Sam if I didn't know any better I'd say you work for Skyline ! Under the "FAQ" section all it says is: "Your picture must be coherent with the location displayed". No mention of comments. Under the "Terms Of Use" section what I see is: "It is forbidden to introduce any material which may be: infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, profane etc". hence the reason for my previous comment. I guess your regulations must be different from mine cause I don't see: "Comments must solely and exclusively refer to the location showcased". Please let me know where I can find that if you've got some inside info. Thank you and ENJOY.

I understand what you are saying Capture Sam but if you pause and think for a moment, how do you only comment on a camera location that no longer exists. On a more serious note, here in the UK BBC radio 4 ran a documentary last month about an investigative reporter from Malta called Daphne, she reported on issues like the one that Gary is describing, she was killed in 2017 when a bomb was placed in her car. I think that puts wrong camera comments in the shade.

Thanks Peter. I'm not able to get full screen when I'm logged out but I can when I'm logged in. Is it different for you? I didn't think these new changes would affect existing users. You might want to try contacting Skyline cause the Premium option doesn't even mention "full screen" as being one of the features. For existing users it seems that the main reason to upgrade to Premium would be to have no ads. Hope you're able to get your full screen back !

Agreed Les and Mel. Gary was providing some useful info regardless of what cam it was on. What's NOT useful is scanning peoples' comments on ALL cams trying to find something negative to say about the comment or the person commenting just to stir things up. Now that's out of place ON ANY CAM.

Well said Les, it’s definitely good to know about the surrounding areas and yes it’s proper information, not something we can ALL find on Google, tut tut

Information about a place not seen on this feed is out of place only to those who aren't interested in that information, plenty of other cameras for you to go to. Bye Bye
