Good Morning....from Block Island, RI....has the red tide returned as badly as before to the North Redington Beach area near the fishing pier? Will be visiting in two weeks right on the beach....sending prayers to all affected by the hurricane....Thanks, Nina....

If you move the camera just a little left we could see our boat the Tropical Texan in the marina!! That would be awesome!!

That's good to hear @Anne. I just wish they would put their cam back up. It was amongst a few faves of mine and offered some lovely sunsets.

I have been in this area as a tourist - hence watching regularly - the past few days to empathise; had near misses of Tornadoes- but tropical Hurricanes - No. However I am surprised to see so many Birds going about their business as though nowt's up, When you watch the European Media Coverage - they seem to pick areas with trees bending over , leaves being blasted, etc - Here all appears so serene - but eerily quiet - hardly a Soul around.

Lots of lightning and storm clouds - is this the beginning of Irma?
