6dec18-- The locals living here have a special name for visitors from the NorthEast, lovingly of coarse, SNO-Birds. Fun place Clearwater! My Uncle Joe had a fish store in Clearwater, decades ago. I don't know if this holds true today, but way way back, " If the Sun does not shine at all today, tomorrows newspaper was free." .. EnJoy EnJoy

Good morning from Block Island RI. Has the red tide eased up a little on North Redington Beach? Will be visiting in another week or so. Thanks, Nina.

Morning from Florida. We are just visiting from the UK and can confirm that we did not see any signs of the red tide at Clearwater, the fish were swimming with us by the shore. Even the locals have said that the media are blowing it out of all proportion. Plenty of dolphins so assume plenty of fish offshore. Good luck fishing.

Will be visiting North Redington Beach in three weeks....please advise. Are there remnants of red tide in the Gulf? Not sure is fishing will be feasible? Thanks, Nina
