1sep18-- Village Weavers - and busy as all get-out , usually seed eaters but during times of raising their young in the nests (they get into from a access point in the bottom of the nest) they feed their young on insects too. The greener nests are newer, though the older nests are occupied, just 'freshened' up on the inside. Fascinating bird , social colonies , though a bit vociferous . *cough* EnJoy Enjoy

What are those things hanging from the trees? Are they nests or some kind of fruit?

Not intended to be a scene from Kenya, but imagine relaxing with a glass of South African Ridgeback wine on the deck.

lovely light on the dam this morning, leaves slowly changing to autumn colors. Lovely day for a wine tasting and lunch along side the dam at Ridgeback, look forward to it
