6PM, mid-October, and it's already night time there! Crazy how quickly the days have shortened over the past two months.

☺ That smudge on the lens is driving me crazy. ☺ Love watching this scene.

Thanks Rob. Maybe some day we'll make it there. Think I'll visit the online hotel page now.

When I visited Henningsvaer I made a point to find the view from the webcam. I stood underneath the camera itself and took the exact photo you see in the webcam. An amazing place with all-pervasive smell of fish!

Thanks, Rob! I googled the hotel and enjoyed photos that show angles we can glimpse from this cam but not quite see. (I even picked out my first dinner from their restaurant menu - ha!) It looks really nice and, like Beverly, I am glad to know what I am looking at here.

Beverly, the white building is The Henningsvaer Brygge Hotel. I've been there and its so nice! They were making waffles in the lobby when I visited. I think the red building is a visitors centre.

I love watching this village. I would, however, like to know what the two buildings are. Are they bed and breakfasts or stores? Such a calming site.

I do wish they would move the camera back to the left like it used to be.

19.34 local time - the reflections on the water are absolutely lovely. Such a tranquil scene.
