Looks like the ferries are back in the main loading bay after the choppy waters sent them round to the South Quay.

Hello Derek, yes I'm back! We got home midnight on Saturday after a lovely 2 weeks in Qawra. I don't blame the biker waiting for the rain to stop as like you say, the roads are like skid pans in the wet. I can think of worse places to stop and wait, Fred was on top form last Wednesday when we we're at the Sailors for a meal with our friends. Not long now eh?

Hi Viv.you must be back now.my worry about riding a bike in Malta is the road surfaces , a lot of them look polished and smooth ,no grip.one time in the Sailors arms a biker had to wait for the rain y of stop before he went home and he was on a trial bike (he just called in to see Fred)

Hi Derek, nice bike to have. Frank likes old British and has collected a few since the kids grew up. I think he's got 7 or 8 now! When we were at Golden Bay in April there was a Bonnie very similar to his, but wasn't ridden which is a shame as that's what they're for. Ours was in better condition and it's ridden out on Sundays when he's got time to go on the club runs. He has a '77 Bonnie, Daytona 500, Panther 350, a Norton, a Legend, basket BSA, velocette and a Beemer 1100. I know he has more respect for them and probably wouldn't ride in Malta. Too many potholes and bits are expensive to source for Malta. I'm packing me bag for the 27th Derek, so watch out for the plane going over Hebburn!
