Painting the concrete blocks in bright colours! - What an Excellent Idea!!
just back better in real life back 2018
So sad to see these concrete barriers have had to be erected for the public's safety - but understandable. We were lucky enough to visit here last year - and just shows how things have had to change around the world.
20/08 due, again, to muslim terror, they had to install concrete fences in order to protect the area, may God bless these soldier standing there to protect
Notice the cement barriers at the entrance to Piazza Bra ! Police taking precautions !
Grazie Comune di Verona per la nuova webcam! 2017 Aug 04, Phoenix USA.
And Another great vacation reminder from Skyline, Thanks to Comune di Verona for hosting and offering us that great view
@Alison. Yes, sounds great, June was what I was thinking would be a good time.I love the opera 'Carmen', watched it at the Royal Albert Hall, would be fabulous to watch it in the Arena.
Just realised I have walked down this piazza! We visited for the day last June - very busy area - there is a park to the right of this cam (you can just see a bit of tree) and the famous Verona Arena (a Roman Amphitheatre built in the first century) is a little further up on the right, which is of course famous for its large scale opera performances.
Mel P, you will LOVE Verona. Try to go in mid-June when it's opera season in the Roman arena. It's quite the experience and one that is on a lot of people's "bucket lists."
Nice busy scene - and with sound Gert! :)
