Seneca It drives me mad too, no one seems to look at the view they just walk round with their faces stuck into their mobiles screens. Enjoy the view people, stop looking at the screens because I can bet you anything those selfies will never be looked at again as they will be onto their next "photo conquest" as you put it.
This place was covered in snow yesterday (2 - 3 inches maybe), now hardly anything.
Fresh snow today.
Snow!!??!! Oh wow! Not a lot, but still. . . . it's July and there's snow. I LOVE it!
Drat! My caption under my photo of the gent on his cell phone was too long-winded and got partly cut off. LOL It was to draw attention to the fact that this magnificent view can't compete with the 'almighty cell phone'. This is a 'pet peeve' of mine - sooooo many people do not take the time to enjoy what they're experiencing. Just snap a selfie and on to the next 'camera conquest' - seems nobody lives in the moment anymore, just take a pic to look at later (if they even bother). So sad!
12.07.17 Not enough snow left to even make a snowman now! :(
I love seeing so many people enjoying this wonderful view in person. Seems the cars have been up and down the mountain more times today than they were during ski season. :)
Still one of my fave views!
Wow, Lori, that is so cool! I can only imagine the view for real cause this one is pretty good!
I was there last Sunday and it is out of this world, the view up from 3000 meters is beyond description. I would have stayed there if I had the choice, so peaceful.
Catherine, the skiers are here now! It is so cool to watch. It is so far down into the valley!
Oh the snow has arrived. Now where are the skiers!
