good afternoon all, had a great week in the Port Benidorm hotel thoroughly recommend the hotel when we left on Tuesday our two friends who are still there for their second week thought we had taken the sun back to the UK and sent us a photo as they couldn't see the hotel opposite but as you all know it cleared later. heres to the next holiday can't wait, happy viewing.
did anybody else see the Benidorm cameras yesterday...couldn't see the beach/sand/ ground due to fog or mist ???
4dec18--Calm waters and no fog at 5pm. EnJoy EnJoy
Tuesday 4th December...foggy ????
Bit of a sea fret today!
Clive go to the Bali Hotel and you will get the best rate......trust me. I have done this for years ( 60 trips to Spain and ready to retire). Bali's rate is better than the banks.
Thanks to all for the advice, will stick to what i thought and go to Sheila's in the indoor market
I've got a Starling Current Account which works in conjunction with your Smartphone, you can keep all your cash in there in sterling, its free to withdraw at any most cash machines at the Mastercard rate and you get an instant alert on your phone when your withdraw/spend, used it for nearly 2 years now in lots of countries and never one problem.
We always take cash and exchange in the indoor market. You get a much better rate than the U.K. and if you change a £1000 or more you get an extra half cent on the days rate. You will need to take a passport with you the first time you go they then issue you a card which you can use in future visits. Whatever you do don’t use the little booths around the streets as you can come unstuck at some of them with the small print and you get less than you were expecting. The indoor market all speak English and are very reliable. You won’t get stitched up. Hope that helps.
Clive best bet is to exchange a small amount at the airport. and exchange the majority at a bank in Spain such as Banco Santander as you need it. Keep in mind banks close for the most part at 2:00 PM in Spain.
can anybody tell me please, are you better off getting euros in Benidorm ie Sheila"s or in the UK thanks in advance
39 days and then enjoy the end of year, have fun...
I do not go to Benidorm any more, i have been many times and i never went to Tiki beach , i am a bit old for that, However i passed it loads of times and i used to stop for a minute or two to watch the young people having fun.I had fun watching the young ones having fun
My next door neighbour is there for the Fiesta and just sent me a picture of the Tiki Be@ch open and packed.
