Dear Mihai; everything is calm already, ... really the city of Arica was left with damages but more to the surroundings, valleys and towns, in Arica there was a lot of rain, but I can tell you that yes, it is the city with less water fallen in the world, it does not feel like this an arid and dry climate, because there is enough humidity, humid summers and wet winters. I do not know if you can imagine it. I hope that in Romania you have good weather and enjoy the winter. Have good afternoon. Thanks for write.

Dear Vanja. Today everything is calm in Arica, the weather is good and there are no traces of rain and lots of sun. Thank you for sending your positive thoughts and doing very well, as you have already lived in 2014, I hope in Servia everything is fine and your chickenpox and your child has only dried. As you have been told, I am sure that when you were a child you did not get chickenpox and now your little boy transmitted it to you. Better late than never ! :)). Take care and send a hug full of sun.

Hello Patti! It is now that i am reading your message to me. Apologize for that. I have read about severe weather events in northern Chile. I am sorry for the ones that have been affected. Did you have rain in the city of Arica itself or just in the surrounding areas? I can imagine that being among the driest places on Earth, if not the driest, northern Chile and the city of Arica are not used at all with heavy rains and you may have serious problems because of them.

Patti, those are just horrible news :( I know how it all feels, we had big terrible floods here in Serbia in May 2014. Sadness and devastation all over the country, many victims. My thoughts are with you and your people. Weather is changing rapidly and there is only so much we can do as human race...
Who would say what's going on when we look at this view in Arica.
Thank you dear friends for your kind wishes, my son and I are better, no big deal with chickenpox (just a surprise for me cause I was told I had them as a child, lol)
I wish all of you better and beautiful days, from my heart.

Arica at night at this time. Bosika, I did not know that the news here could go so far, I guess it's because the world is more connected thanks to social networks. Thanks for your thoughts. Now this has happened from the inclement weather, has left victims and destruction in different locations, I was surprised by the amount of water that has fallen here drier places on the planet, but we know that everything is rare and we can expect more rain. I send you many greetings and enjoy your beautiful Budapest that by the way yesterday I saw her very early in the morning and she was zero visibility, I took a picture of her.

Dear Patti! I see on TV what's happening in Chile. I'm very sad due to the victims. Madness is the weather! I hope it ends as soon as possible and do not cause more damage. Best wishes to you, to your family and to the people of Chile!

Hello Vanja, how are you today? Thanks for asking!. YES ... and there are videos of these storms too. And I am fine, 300 km from here is the most complicated, in the city of Calama and in Arica, floods of Rivers with great force and at the same time rain. Today the rains will continue. I hope you are well, and I read that you and your son were with chicken pox, today they will be both better and enjoy their days. Warm greetings from where I am.

Hello Mihai! the Romanian webcam has been lost, :( but it's good that February you have started with higher temperatures than usual, enjoy it .. Actually, the weather is unpredictable now, and many times the meteorologists, fail, but not because they make mistakes, but because the weather is unpredictable. You have seen here in Arica has dropped a lot of water and will still fall for today according to the forecasts, and finally, it is all chaotic, because of the heavy rains.

Hello friends! Hi all! Arica and Antofagasta are being hit by the altiplano front and high temperatures, have caused heavy rains and overflows of rivers, fall of a bridge, roads cut between Arica and Antofagasta, and forecast for today again heavy rains in Arica and Loa Calama,. Unfortunately, it has already claimed victims and I hope that all this will happen soon and return to normal. The president of Chile declared a catastrophe zone here in Calama. Today the rains and torrential flows of rivers will continue.
